Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Benxi Iron and Steel Corporation (Benxi Steel) has announced its production targets for China's 12th five-year plan period.
Accordingly, Benxi Steel plans to increase its steel production volumes for the whole 2011-2015 period to 6.15 million mt of cold rolled galvanized steel products, 4.57 million mt of hot rolled products, 1 million mt of special steel products, 460,000 mt of stainless steel and 300,000 mt of silicon steel products.
Meanwhile, Benxi Steel also plans to reach an annual sales income of RMB 135.3 billion ($20 billion) by 2015.
