On December 22, Liaoning Province-based Bensteel announced its ex-works prices to be effective for January 2009. The details are as follows:
1. HR
The new price of 2.75 mm Q235 is at RMB 3,150/mt ($461/mt) while the price of 5.75 mm Q235 is at RMB 3,080/mt ($450/mt).
2. CR
The new price of 1.0 mm DC01 is at RMB 3,700/mt ($541/mt).
3. HDG
The price of 1.0 mm SGCC is now at RMB 4,000/mt ($585/mt).
4. PPGI
The new price of 0.47 mm TDC51D is at RMB 5,650/mt ($827/mt).
The above prices do not include 17 percent VAT.
