Bayi Steel decreases HRC prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 26, 2006, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region based Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel Co. Ltd (Bayi Steel) adjusted its ex-factory prices of hot rolled coil. The price of 3.0-9.0 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil decreased RMB 100/mt ($13). After the adjustment, the price of 2.0 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 4,200/mt ($533), that of 2.75 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 3,800/mt ($482), the price of 3.0-5.7 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 3,550/mt ($451), while the price of 5.75-9.0 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is RMB 3,500/mt ($444). The above prices include 17% VAT and are effective as of October 26.
