On September 21, Baotou Steel issued its ex-factory prices for October HRC, making an upward adjustment of RMB 200/mt ($27/mt) from September levels. As a result, the ex-factory price of 5.75 mm Q235 is now at RMB 4,200/mt ($559/mt).
The above price includes 17 percent VAT and is effective as of October 1, 2007.
