Baotou Special Steel Industrial Park sees 40 percent rise in industrial output in Q1

As reported by Baotou News, in the first quarter of the current year the total industrial output value of the 24 large-scale industrial enterprises located in Baotou Special Steel Industrial Park, Inner Mongolia, China amounted to RMB 5.519 billion ($846 million), up 40.4 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the total sales revenue for the period in question was RMB 4.966 billion ($762 million), rising by 47.7 percent, while the overall pre-tax profit came to RMB 92.836 million ($14.239 million), indicating an increase of 102 percent - both compared to the same quarter last year.
