Chinese steel producer Baosteel’s Zhanjiang Steel production base is going to carry out a hot run test on its blast furnace No. 2 system on July 15 this year, according to local media sources in Zhanjiang.
To date, Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel’s blast furnace No. 2 project has proceeded smoothly, while debugging is currently being carried out on the coking, sintering, iron-making, steelmaking and continuous casting processes, ahead of the hot run test on July 15.
