Chinese steel producer Baosteel recently exported to France 1,100 metric tons of high strength micro-alloy steel plate which is used in automobile manufacture. This is the first time that a Chinese producer has exported this kind of steel product.
The steel plate, which was found to conform to all quality control requirements, has a high yield ratio and good welding performance. It is widely used in automobile structural parts and in automobile reinforcement parts.
