Average second-grade coke price in China down one percent in mid-June

In mid-June (June 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,380.0/mt ($201.2/mt) and RMB 2,015.8/mt ($293.8/mt), increasing by RMB 24.0/mt ($3.5/mt) or 1.8 percent and decreasing by RMB 20.0/mt ($2.9/mt) or 1.0 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in early June (June 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
