Australia-based iron ore developer NSL Consolidated (NSL) has announced that it will begin the construction of an iron ore beneficiation project in India worth $2.3 million, expecting to commission the first stage by the end of this year.
According to the company statement, the new plant will have an annual throughput capacity of 196,000 mt. Final commissioning will provide maiden revenues for NSL, as well as new revenue generating opportunities from beneficiation of third party ores.
So far NSL is the only foreign company granted permission to own and operate iron ore mines in India.
