Australian Boulder Steel relocates its operations

Australian steel producer Boulder Steel has recently announced that it determined to relocate its Boulder Specialty Steel Plant to Ipswich, Queensland, closer to the capital city of Brisbane. Officials of the company stated that the decision regarding the relocation of the plant has been made with strong support from the Queensland Government. The plant will recycle scrap metal to produce 230'000 mts of specialty steels through the technological support of Breitenfeld Group of Companies in Austria. The officials added that the relocation will be advantageous for Boulder Specialty Steel as the new place is close to major suppliers of scrap steel and near major road and rail links to Port of Brisbane.
