Australia’s Antidumping Commission has announced that it has terminated the antidumping (AD) duty investigation against imports of steel reinforcing bar from Turkey without imposing any measures.

The investigation was launched upon the application of Liberty OneSteel, on the grounds of loss of market share and price suppression due to lower prices of imported goods from Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş. (Colakoglu), Diler Demir Celik Endustri ve Ticaret A.Ş (Diler), Habaş Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endüstrisi A.Ş. (Habas), Kroman Çelik Sanayii A.Ş. (Kroman) and ‘all other exporters’ from Turkey than their normal value, as previously reported by SteelOrbis.

The investigation was launched on 16 November 2018 and covered the period from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018.
