Australia initiates AD review on imports of rod in coils from China’s Zenith

Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated a review regarding the antidumping (AD) order on imports of steel rod in coils from Chinese company Zenith Steel Group Co., Ltd (Zenith) to examine whether the variable factors relevant to the taking of the antidumping measures have changed.  

The review launched upon the application lodged by Zenith covers the period between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017 and covers the exports of the goods to Australia from China by Zenith.

The products subject to antidumping review are hot rolled rods in coils of steel, whether or not containing alloys, that have maximum cross sections that are less than 14 mm, currently falling under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.91.00 and 7227.90.90.
