ATI Allegheny Ludlum increases plate prices
According to the statement released by ATI Allegheny Ludlum, the company will increase prices of
stainless steel
plate prices effective for shipments as of September 27, 2004.
Accordingly, price increase for 304, 304L and 316L grades of
stainless steel
plate will be 5- 6%. Moreover, grade base for type 403 will be increased to $2.45 cents per pound.
All surcharges for this product will remain in effect, however surcharge on silicon electrical steel will be $295 per ton effective for shipments as of October 1, 2004.
