ATI Allegheny Ludlum increases its prices

According to the statement released by ATI Allegheny Ludlum, the company will increase prices of type 409 cold rolled and hot rolled sheet and strip products effective for shipments as of September 13, 2004. Accordingly, base prices of type 409 cold rolled and hot rolled sheet and strip will increase by 5-14% depending on thickness and width. No change has been announced in the prevailing surcharges.
