ATI Allegheny Ludlum hikes tool steel prices

According to a statement released by ATI Allegheny Ludlum, the company will increase hot rolled annealed tool steel prices and Econ-O-Miser™ (Milled and Ground) size extras by approximately 4%. Price increases will be effective for shipments as of February 1, 2005. Company officials cited the need to offset rising manufacturing costs as the reason behind the price hike.
