Turkish special steel producer Asil Çelik has completed the addition of a fourth strand to its three-strand continuous caster that has been in operation since 1997. The addition was made by Italian plantmaker Danieli, which installed the original caster.

With the completion of this investment, the time for continuous casting has been reduced by 30 percent and the internal structure qualities of the materials have been improved. Moreover, the current three-strand caster has been revised as a fourth strand. In addition, a new branding machine has been put into operation and the level 2 system has been revised.
