London-based ship-broker Clarkson Plc has stated that new ship prices are now bouncing up from the bottom as more orders for ships have reemerged. In Asia, many shipyards have filled up their production schedule for 2011. Meanwhile, in China and South Korea some shipyards have started to hike prices. In the short to medium term, new ship prices are mainly determined by the demand for dry bulk ships.
