Industrial growth from May to June 2011 slipped 0.1 percent.

Automotive and raw steel production continues to drive Argentina's manufacturing growth. Automobile production totaled 80,795 units in June, a 24 percent increase over June 2010, and year-on-year raw steel output jumped 11.7 percent to 470,000 metric tons.

Manufacturers' capacity utilization rates were 76.2 percent in June, lower than the high reached in April of this year of 80.9 percent, but at a similar level compared to May.
