Argentina's crude steel output up

Argentina's steel chamber, the CIS, has disclosed that the country's crude steel production rose 3.6 percent year on year to 481,000 metric tons in August. In addition, August steel production was 17.8 percent higher than the July figure. Hot rolled steel output fell 7.8 percent year on year to 428,500 metric tons in August, while cold rolled steel output grew 0.2 percent to 129,000 metric tons.
