The world's largest steelmaker ArcelorMittal has announced the completion of the sale of its US-based flat steel producing subsidiary Sparrows Point to Russian steelmaker Severstal.
The sale agreement between ArcelorMittal and Severstal was reached in late March. According to the agreement, Severstal purchased Sparrows Point for a consideration of $810 million.
