Anyang Steel obtains further certification for products

The carbon structural steel and low-alloy high-strength structural steel of Henan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron and Steel Co. (Anyang Steel) have successfully passed evaluation by Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LR) as well as evaluation for conformity with European standards. Conformity with EU standards will enable Anyang Steel to use the CE (Conformite Europeenne) mark on its products.
 
In 2010, Anyang Steel achieved a total operating income of RMB 43 billion ($6.3 billion), rising by RMB 10 billion ($1.5 billion) year on year.
