Anshan Steel produces 16 million mt of iron ore concentrate in 2011

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Anshan Iron and Steel Group (Anshan Steel) has announced its iron ore output results for 2011.
 
Accordingly, in 2011 Anshan Steel's total iron ore output came to 47.7 million mt. Meanwhile, its aggregate outputs of iron ore concentrate and pellet for the given year amounted respectively to 16 million mt and 6.78 million mt.
 
By 2015, Anshan Steel expects to achieve annual outputs of 62 million mt of iron ore and 18 million mt of iron ore concentrate. By 2020, it targets annual iron ore production of 100 million mt and annual iron ore concentrate output of 30 million mt.
