Ameron to open Oklahoma manufacturing facility

Pasadena, California based manufacturer Ameron International Corporation announced Friday plans to invest in a $35 million 75,000-square-foot steel pole plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that should be operational within two years. The facility will include a proprietary manufacturing process that will aid in the manufacturing of product applications used in the transportation market.

Manufacturing at the plant will be focused primarily on the national transportation infrastructure market for applications such as highway lighting, traffic signal control structures and light rail.
