Ameristeel increases wire rod prices by $20 /nt
Gerdau Ameristeel has announced that they will increase their North American wire rod prices by $20 /nt ($22 /mt or $1.00 cwt.) effective with shipments August 1. This increase comes days after Mittal-Georgetown announced a $30 /nt ($33 /mt or $1.50 cwt.) August increase for their wire rod products.
