Altius sees improved revenue for FY 2013-14

Canada-based mining company Altius Minerals Corporation (Altius) has announced its financial results for the year ended April 30, 2014. In the financial year 2013-14, the company posted a net loss of C$22.5 million, compared to a net loss of C$13.3 million in the previous financial year, while the company's revenue increased by 6.3 percent year on year to C$6.23 million.
 
Altius also stated that in April this year, the company reached an important milestone by closing the Prairies Royalties acquisition, which comprised royalty interests in eleven mines including metallurgical coal, all located within Canada.
