AK Steel hikes stainless steel prices
According to the statement released from AK Steel, the company will increase prices of all 200, 300, 400 series stainless steel sheet, strip and continuous mill plate products by 6% to be in effect for shipments as of May 17, 2004. The price increase will be in the form of reduction in discount by 2%. The prices are stated to be increased due to rising manufacturing, energy and transportation costs.AK Steel hikes stainless steel prices
