18 million mt of new iron ore resources found in Jiangxi, China

An iron ore reconnaissance survey carried out by the geological survey authorities of western Jiangxi at Ma'anzhai in Luxi county in China's Jiangxi Province has received approval from the Ministry of Land and Resources in Jiangxi, according to local media sources. In the survey, 18 million mt of new iron ore resources were discovered, with an average Fe content of 30 percent, and with magnetite iron ore accounting for 20 percent of the total.
