As of Monday morning, SteelOrbis confirmed that HMS I/II dock delivered prices on the East Coast are were being heard in the range of $165-$175/gt, ($168-$177/mt). This number is consistent with dock delivered prices heard during the last week of September. However, by the end of the day, reports that dock delivered prices from Camden, NJ and north, had softened to $160-$165/gt ($163-$168/mt) began to emerge. Market players believe that prices may come down by an additional $5/gt ($5/mt) before prices bottom.

Freight rates to Turkey are still being head in the range of $30-$35/mt, which is also consistent with levels heard two weeks ago.
