Two Turkish mills have raised their domestic scrap purchase prices by TRY 50-100/mt or $7-14/mt today, September 4. While other mills’ prices have remained stable, some of their dollar based quotations have remained stable, some decreased due to the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. Following the revisions recorded today, the benchmark DKP grade scrap prices in Turkey has remained stable at TRY 1,930-2,215/mt but decreased very slightly on the upper end for the dollar based quotations to $259-297/mt.
