Turkish mills revise ship scrap buying price, Habas back in market

Today, April 3, one mill in Turkey’s Izmir region has increased its ship scrap purchase prices by $7/mt as compared to the levels shared by SteelOrbis on Monday, March 30, while another one has reduced its prices by $3/mt and a third one has kept its prices stable. As a result, ship scrap purchase prices in the region are still at $208-215/mt, for delivery to mill by truck. It is also worth mentioning that Habas, which was out of the market for some time, has restarted its ship scrap purchases, setting its prices at $208/mt.
