Supply and demand in equilibrium in local Italian scrap market

After increasing very slightly at the beginning of July, domestic scrap prices have trended sideways in Italy in the few past weeks. According to market sources, the market is quiet and supply and demand are in equilibrium. The current situation should last at least until the end of summer stoppages, which traditionally start in August.
