Domestic ship scrap purchase prices in Turkey’s Izmir region have been revised once again, following the downturn in the import scrap segment. As a result, local mills have lowered their ship scrap purchase prices by $5-6/mt, while seeking to keep the raw material inflow in line with their needs.

In Turkey's Aliaga region the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:

-5

Habaş

250

Ege Çelik

All the above prices are for delivery to mill by truck.
