Some more Turkish mills have followed the decrease in local scrap purchase prices after the main producers had already reduced their purchase prices. They have reduced their prices by TRY 30-60/mt, translating into a $5-11/mt decline on US dollar basis. Some market players believe that the local scrap purchase prices have fallen far enough. However, if import prices continue to decline, some further revisions locally are also possible.
