Since SteelOrbis’ report published on Wednesday, August 10, some Turkish mills have increased their local scrap procurement prices by TRY 100-500/mt or $5-28/mt. Some mills have kept their prices stable, with a sideways movement in their dollar-based quotations. As a result, the general range in the local Turkish scrap market for the benchmark DKP grade scrap has increased from TRY 6,200-7,550/mt ($345-421/mt) to TRY 6,250-7,800/mt ($348-434/mt).
