Latest situation in local Italian scrap market

As predicted, the local Italian scrap market has trended sideways in the past week after the price decreases recorded in the first days of February, and the current situation should remain unchanged until the end of this month. According to market sources, in March domestic scrap prices in Italy should remain unchanged or increase slightly, due to the recent uptrend of import scrap prices in Turkey and the foreseen improvement of demand in the finished product market with the arrival of spring.
