Japanese H2 domestic scrap price declines

On December 4, SteelOrbis reported that domestic H2 scrap prices in Japan at mini-mills in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya decreased to JPY 30,900-31,300/mt ($274-278/mt), while shindachi scrap was at JPY 36,200-36,500/mt ($321-324/mt), all prices delivered.

SteelOrbis has been informed that for the week ended December 7, Japanese H2 scrap prices have decreased to JPY 30,600-30,900/mt ($271-274/mt) while shindachi scrap also decreased to JPY 35,800-36,100/mt ($317-319/mt), all prices delivered to customer. H2 scrap prices decreased $3/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $4/mt from the top of the same range. Shindachi scrap prices decreased $4/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $6/mt from the top of the same range.
