Following a pause in scrap purchases by Turkey, together with the uncertain sentiments regarding the further development of the segment in general, global scrap suppliers have continued to reduce their offer prices for their alternative destinations - in particular, for Pakistan.

Accordingly, within the past week offers for shredded scrap of European origin in containers to Pakistan have dropped by $8/mt to $310-312/mt CFR Qasim.

Concurrently, HMS I/II 80:20 offers have declined by $10-15/mt compared to the previous week to $285-290/mt CFR Qasim.
