Market sources confirm that a Turkish steel producer has concluded an ex-Baltic deal for 7,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap, 11,000 mt of shredded scrap and 2,000 mt of bonus and busheling grade scrap at the average level of $276/mt CFR, for shipment in the second half of July. This price level is similar to that in an ex-Baltic deal heard in Turkey yesterday, June 22.
