Ex-Baltic scrap prices inch up further in Turkey

Import prices for the Baltic scrap continue to climb in Turkey. Another deal was heard from Lithuania to a Turkish Marmara region-based steel producer, in which the HMS I/II 80:20 scrap price increased by $2.25/mt as compared to the previous transaction SteelOrbis has reported earlier today, October 14. The new cargo for 41,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 scrap was priced at $237/mt CFR; and will be shipped in November.
