SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 14,000-14,700/mt ($498-523/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have risen by NTD 5,000/mt ($178/mt) over the past week to NTD 54,500-57,000/mt ($1,942-2,031/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early April shipments.
