Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 18

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt ($33/mt) over the past week to NTD 13,700-14,400/mt ($464-487/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have dropped by NTD 2,000/mt ($67/mt) over the past week to NTD 55,500-58,000/mt ($1,880-1,965/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late May/early June shipments.
