SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 16,000-16,700/mt ($551-575/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 67,500-70,000/mt ($2,327-2,413/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-May shipments.
