Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 10

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt ($7/mt)over the past week at NTD 11,300-12,000/mt ($400-425/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,399-1,488/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early April shipments.

$1 = NTD 28.23
