Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 1, 2025

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,700-9,400/mt ($265-287/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,114-1,190/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late January shipments.
