Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 8

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 1,000/mt ($36/mt) over the past week at NTD 10,600-11,300/mt ($381-406/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,420-1,510/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late March shipments.
