SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 10,200-10,700/mt ($348-365/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 2,000/mt over the past week to NTD 37,500-41,000/mt ($1,278-1,397/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late March shipments.
