SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 9,600-10,300/mt ($342-367/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,409-1,498/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid March shipments.
