SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 8,600-9,500/mt ($275-304/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable at NTD 44,000-47,000/mt ($1,406-1,502/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late December and early January shipments.
