SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable during the past week at NTD 9,800-10,200/mt ($318-331/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have sideways over the past week at NTD 31,200-33,700/mt ($1,012-1,093/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-January shipments.
