Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 50

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 500/mt during the past week to NTD 7,600-8,500/mt ($239-267/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,130-1,208/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are late December shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 31.86
